Alykanas is near to the neighbouring resort of Alykes and with less than 1 km between the two it is a pleasant and easy flat walk from one resort to the other. Alykanas is nestled amongst olive groves and surrounded by lush green scenery.
The beach is a continuation of Alykes beach and has the same soft sand and clear waters. The resort has many shops, bars, restaurants and tavernas, sure to suit everyone and has in particular a good reputation for having several fine fish restaurants.
On the outskirts of Alykanas, is the original village of Alykanas now called old Alykanas. This charming village is near the coast, has retained its traditional Greek feel and has a handful of tavernas and accommodation.

Argassi, clustered around a busy main street, has the buzz that comes with being a compact resort. In high season, its bars, restaurants and nightclubs are brimming with excited young visitors.
The hotels outside the resort centre enjoy a quieter atmosphere and appeal to families. It has a very small, narrow sand-and-shingle beach but is close to Vassilikos which has numerous sandy beaches and also offers easy access to Zakynthos Town, especially if you hire a car.
Laganas is the largest and liveliest of the island’s resorts. It is a magnet for lovers of nightlife who are spoilt for choice, although many hotels can be found away from the main strip, proving popular with families and couples of all ages looking for a livelier resort with a good selection of shops, bars and restaurants nearby. Just 100m from the resort centre is the sandy beach for sun worshippers.

Kalamaki is a friendly resort located on the south east coast of the island about 3km from the lively resort of Laganas. Kalamaki’s long, gently shelving beach is an extension of Laganas golden sandy coastline and is superb with crystal clear blue water.
The surrounding countryside and olive groves are breathtaking against the mountainous backdrop and are ideal for a stroll or cycle ride.

Located on the Southern Western coast of the island and tucked into the corner of Laganas Bay is the pretty fishing village of Limni Keriou (Keri Lake), the waterfront harbour of the mountain village of Keri.
From the shingle beach there a lovely view across the bay to the Vassilikos peninsula and the golden sands of Gerakas beach. The waterfront is dotted with tavernas, shops and bars. The small harbour shelters local fishing boats and day trip boats that offer trips to the stunning Keri Caves and the little island of Marathonisi (Turtle Island).

Tsilivi is a very popular resort with families and couples and is now one of the main resorts on the island of Zakynthos. Located on the north east coast of Zante, Tsilivi is well known for its lovely beach the proud recipient of the prestigious Blue Flag award.

The Vassilikos peninsula, on the south east coast of the island is reached by a very winding and dramatically scenic drive. The surrounding countryside is just waiting to be explored.
